Oracle e-Business Support Analyst x3 required for a 6 month contract.

Due to a number of new Oracle e-Business implementations and upgrades we require three Oracle e-Business Support Analyst’s to provide essential support to the business.

Suitable applicants can come from either a technical or functional background, but must have previous experience with 11i, and predominately with the core Oracle Financial modules, GL, AP, AR, any FA, CM or PA highly desirable.

Previous experience working in a support environment preferred, but not essential.

Successful candidates will join a specialist team in managing a number of large business critical bespoke applications that run on Oracle. Ideal candidates should be able to code in SQL with basic UNIX Shell Scripting skills. Any PL/SQL experience would be highly desirable but not essential.

Applicants should have commercial experience within an Oracle based environment.

Skills required are Oracle 9i, 10g, SQL*Plus and PL/SQL. Any Developer 2000 / 6i, and basic Oracle DBA skills would be a good to have but not essential.

Duties involve Analysing and Supporting a range of application systems, Troubleshooting application errors, Project work, and Testing all changes to applications before releasing into a live environment.
